Mobile Ticketing Instructions

Mobile Ticketing Instructions

Thank you for visiting the mobile ticketing instructions page. We understand the process to transition from printed tickets to mobile may be a bit overwhelming, so we are providing a step-by-step guide on accessing your tickets, transferring them to friends, or even reselling them.
  1. Open your “SHU Pirates App” or go to am.ticketmaster.com/setonhall.  We highly recommend you access your tickets via the SHU Pirates App, as it is your one-stop for scores, stories and exclusive video content.  Download the SHU Pirates Mobile App today for iOS smartphones through the App Store and Android smartphones through Google Play.
  2. Click on “My Pirates Account” in the upper corner dropdown menu.
  3. Log in using the email address you’ve used to access your tickets in past years.  If you do not remember your password, simply click “Forgot Password” to reset it.  If you do not remember your email address used to access your account, it would be the same email address you have received all of your communication from the Seton Hall Ticket Office from.  If you still do not remember, or have trouble logging in, please contact the Seton Hall Ticket Office.
  4. To access your tickets for a particular game, click on the game you are attending.
  5. Select the tickets you wish to access.
  6. Click “View Barcode” and simply present your tickets to the ticket taker at the entrance to Prudential Center and enjoy the game.
  7. If you are able, we recommend adding these tickets to your Apple or Google wallet.  This will help to ensure that you do not have trouble accessing your tickets at the game.  Due to the large number of people attempting to access their tickets at the gates, cell phone connectivity is not always reliable.  By adding them to your wallet you ensure that those tickets are ready for Prudential Center ticket takers.
Please not that in previous years, fans could screenshot their digital tickets and send them via text message to their guests – this is no longer the case.  The new digital tickets are protected by Ticketmaster’s SafeTix technology that continually generates a new and unique barcode that automatically refreshes every few seconds so the barcode cannot be stolen or copied.  If you place your digital ticket in your mobile wallet (recommended), no barcode will be visible – however, the scanners will detect it.

Ticket Transfer (Not Available for Student Tickets):
  1. To transfer tickets to another customer, click on the game in which you wish to transfer.
  2. Select the tickets you wish to transfer and follow the prompts.
  3. You will need to know the email address of the person you are transferring them to.
  4. Please make sure you are sending the correct tickets.  Once the tickets have been accepted by the party you are transferring them to, you will not be able to get those tickets back.
  5. Click on “Complete Transfer” to send the tickets.  The person you are transferring them to must accept the tickets by game time or the tickets will expire.  We recommend fans that receive tickets accept as soon as they receive their confirmation email and add them to their Apple or Google wallet.

Ticket Resale (Not Available for Student Tickets):
  1. If you can’t make a game and wish to resell your tickets, you can also do so early through your “My Pirates Account.”
  2. Simply click on the game for the tickets you wish to sell.
  3. Then click on the tickets you wish to sell and click “Sell Tickets.”
  4. You can set your price for those tickets.
  5. You may also allow Ticketmaster to set the price for you based on similar seat locations at Prudential Center.  The price my fluctuate based on the market and may go down if the tickets are still available closer to the event.  Your tickets are not guaranteed to sell.
  6. You will then be asked to select where you wish the funds from your sale to be deposited.  If you have never accessed this before, you may need to enter your account and routing number for the account you wish to use.
If you are having trouble accessing your account, or need additional help, please do not hesitate to reach out to the ticket office by phone at (973) 275-HALL (4255) or via email at tickets@shu.edu.  Please try to access your account in advance of game day so you do not miss any of the action at The Rock while attempting to retrieve the tickets at the game.

Thank you for your support and GO PIRATES!
